Wine is made in the vineyard. My job is to make sure that our growers are taking the right steps to insure that the quality of fruit coming into the winery is the best that each season can produce. When that happens, my job is simple, let the quality of fruit speak for itself and don't screw it up.
Brauer Museum of Art
The Brauer Museum of Art collection focuses on 19th- and 20th-century American art and also includes world religious art and Midwestern regional art. Paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, and photographs are represented. Selections from the permanent collection are always on view in two of the museum's seven galleries and are frequently included in special exhibitions. Virtual exhibitions that highlight aspects of the collection are always available on the website, and a project to make a full listing of our holdings available online is well underway.

Washington Park Zoo
The Washington Park Zoo was founded in 1928, encompasses 15 acres on a hilly sand dune close to the lake, and is home to more than 200 animals. It is owned and operated by the City of Michigan City, Indiana.

The European Market premiered in 2003 with only 28 vendors and since then has grown to more than 150 registered vendors. St. Julian Winery
St. Julian is Michigan’s oldest, largest and most awarded winery. This family-owned winery, founded by Mariano Meconi in 1921, is nestled in the picturesque fruit-growing region along the southern shore of Lake Michigan. Today, grandson, David Braganini, has adopted the family tradition of wine making while turning St. Julian into Michigan’s most renowned winery.
